The Haven Resort Hotel Ipohl is currently looking to recruit the following positions:
Work collaboratively with all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly in line with operation needs & demands.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist the Assistant General Manager in handling day to day operational activities.
Be in charge of many aspects of a hotel’s functions, including housekeeping, facilities, security, public relations, social media, F&B service, sales & marketing and oversees the other admin departments.
Ensure the positive experiences for all hotel guests.
Anticipate all guest needs and respond promptly & accordingly
Establish and maintain standards for staff performance and customer service
Maintain full knowledge of all inner working of the hotel, including room rates, hotel policies, specials, availabilities, VIP guests, hotel events and more.
Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks.
Randomly inspecting the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry etc.) with the F & B Manager & Chef.
Dealing with Suppliers / Vendors for quality products involving Purchase Manager and providing performance assessment of vendors every quarter to HO Purchase.
Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation.
Inspecting all department with their respective Manager’s for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
Meet all dept. heads to review & train the staff to upkeep the human capital.
Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the hotel.
Skills & Experiences:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): English
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in hotel management.
Strong leadership skills
High level of responsibility and accountability
Strong management, communication and organizational skills
Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
