ROYALE CHULAN SEREMBAN Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Senior Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Communication, computer (OPERA System), Leadership and Customer Service
Preferably Non-Executive specialized in [Specialization] or equivalent.
Healthy and able to work in shift hour and Multitasking

RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizes work assigned to her/him. Issues verbal and written orders to staff ensuring that the staff understands, performs their duties quickly and efficiently.
Trains staff in his/her area of responsibility.
Maintains the good order and service ability of storage areas and equipment in use by the Housekeeping Staff.
Issues verbal and written order of work to be done
Attends to guests’ requests and complaints.
Reports sick and irregular behavior of guests and staff and areas to the Housekeeper.
Documents and reports defects and repairs requiring maintenance attention. Report should be followed up and checked to ensure that work is properly done.
Signs out before going off duty.
Keeps log book up-to-date for Housekeeper’s inspection.
Checks expected VIP area where special treatment should be given.
Makes sure that all shift staff properly handover to THE NEXT RELIEVER IN WRITING.
Collects from Housekeeping Attendants lost and found or left property of guests.
Prepares and forwards all reports to the Housekeeper’s office. This includes the following:
Daily occupancy and inspection report
Lost and Found articles report
Daily report on losses and breakage
Disciplines staff on behaviors when necessary
Performs other related duties as may be delegated by the Housekeeper.
Ensures that staff performance meet the standard of quality established by the Hotel.
In charge of all Housekeeping operations, personnel and areas assigned to him/her during duty hours.
Ensures by supervision and control the standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene of the staff for which he/she is responsible.
Carries out such other general and/or specific responsibilities, duties, activities and performance standards as may be assigned verbally or in writing by Management from time to time to meet operational requirement or owing to urgencies of service, whether or not such assignments relate directly or indirectly to the job.
Complies with all relevant Hotel Policies and Procedures, House Rules, Standing Instructions, Verbal Order, etc., which are currently in force or may be drawn up, issued and/or amended by Management from time to time. These include punctuality in reporting for duty, neat and clean personal attire and appearance, security search, attendance and participation at training sessions, etc.
