It is a mere 30 minutes drive to the Bayan Lepas International Airport or to Georgetown. 308 elegantly furnished guestrooms with panoramic view of Penang Bridge and the town centerof Seberang Prai.The Hotel cater to corporate meeting & banquets, as well as private wedding functions. The Pearl Ballroom,which can accommodate up to 1000 person, is the largest Banquet Hall in mainland Penang.

Pearl View Hotel Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER
Front Office Manager provides day to day supervision, direction and leadership to all Front Office personnel under the guidance of the GM. He is also responsible for all Front Office activities relating to the effective and efficient operation of Front Office and makes decision during the absence of senior management.

Job Descriptions:
Attends DH’s morning briefing and chairs specific meetings to update, share and obtain information
Checks on departmenttal operations to ensure visibility and “hands-on” activity
Meets with guests to check on guest’s satisfaction and feedback for improvement
Attends Sales / F&B Meetings
Preparing Front Office monthly occupacy and statistic reports
Assist to greet VIPs and escorts them to their room
Assist Reception during heavy check in/check out/group arrival
Monitor staff performance and ensure they follow according to their performance standard
Handling guest complaints and emergencies
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English (Mandarin with advantage)
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.

DUTY MANAGER

The Duty Manager received instructions from and reports directly to the Front Office Mnager on whose behalf he/she acts at all times. The Duty Manager is primarily concerned with the satisfaction, safety and comfort of the hotel guests, and to this end acts as a liaison between the guests and the various hotel departments. It is therefore, important that the Duty Manager must throughly aware of the operation of the hotel as a whole and of the individual departments.

Job Descriptions:
Represents the management in handling all designated areas of operations within the hotel during shift and performs any additional assisngments as delefated by GM and F/O Manager
Supervises the Guest Service department and ensures the highest level of service is provided
Prepares duty schedules for staff and conducts daily briefings
Conduct regular training and ensures that all F/O staff achieved the desired level of customer service
Responsible for overall cleanliness of the hotel and checks the appearance, grooming and uniforms of staff are neat and tidy
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Proffesional Degree in Hospitality
Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
Language : English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin

Front Office Supervisor/Assistant

Front Office Supervisor
Manage all aspects of the department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation in a professional, efficient, profitable manner and in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the hotel
Responsible for all aspects of FO activities relating to the effective and efficient operation
Front Office Assistant
Carries out check in and check our process and assures genuine interest in the guests’ well being by checking the level of satisfaction before the guest departure
Seek changes and development that produce maximum results and freshly oriented progress.
Carry out the duty as competently and effectively as possible and in observances of the hotel policy with the guest satisfaction in mind at all times.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/”A” Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
