Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur Managed by Banyan Tree is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Club Floor Manager
Job Description
Manages the associates at the Club Floor. Train and schedules the associates.
Resolves guest complaints at the Club Floor, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
Checks guest in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest. Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.
Ensure all guests and visitors to Club Floor leave with a pleasant experience.
Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Checks cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements.
Assist subordinates during peak periods and during shortage of manpower
Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
Works closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests
Develop new service/product offerings to increase the perceived value and experience. Identify potential upsell guests to the highest category room in Club floor.
Coordinate with Food & Beverage and Kitchen departments for seamless execution of service at Club Floor Lounge.
TRAINING & EVALUATION
1. To monitor and assess the technical performance of Club Floor Host and to schedule training where necessary
2. To read and understand negative guest comments and to take corrective measures.
3. To work with Training Manager, to identify training needs of respective outlets and to draw up a suitable training program.

EMPLOYEE RELATION
1. Ensure all subordinates are punctual for duty and wear correct uniform with nametags on at all times.
2. Ensure all subordinates project a professional image and pleasant disposition to enhance guests’ experience at all times.
3. Build an efficient and productive team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, training and development, and through effective counselling.
4. Ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of the Club Floor and hotel’s policies and procedures, rules and regulation.
5. Conduct periodical evaluation of employees’ performance and take appropriate corrective measures for improvements.
6. Propose employees’ annual vacation and schedule Public Holidays, off-in-lieu during off-peak periods.
7.To participate in regular associate meetings keep associates informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase sales and service.
8. Take appropriate disciplinary action against repeat offenders of company’s rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Hotel Management, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking
Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.

SPA THERAPIST
Job Description:

To prepare, clean and tidy spa premises.
To be fully aware of the daily booking programmed and to update any changes to the reception.
To check the following day’s appointments at the end of each day and to make necessary preparation accordingly.
To provide body massages, body treatment, facials, manicures, pedicures and hair care to Spa’s guests
To Check and maintain product supplies at the beginning and end of each day including product expiry.
Replace soiled Linen in the pavilion and treatment rooms with clean one.
Check and clear all Spa fresh materials in the General Store and Pantry.
To ensure that the guest is greeted by their family name as far as possible.
To maintain guest satisfaction at ask time according to standard.
To ensure guest comfort during the treatment by monitoring room temperature, lighting, sunlight and music level.
To report any guest comments o complaint to the Senior Therapist as soon as convenient. in the absence of Senior Therapist, guest comments should be reported to the Senior Receptionist/ Spa Supervisor or Spa Manager.
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Spa therapist, Hotel Management, Customer Service
Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
