Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre is currently looking to recruit the following positions:
Food & Beverage Coordinator/ Hostess
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Business Intelligence
Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
Handles all incoming telephone calls
Handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence Food & Beverage Department.
Responsible for typing and filing all correspondence such as Letter of Agreement, etc. concerned departments and check for accuracy before sending
Handles photocopying and distribution of all correspondence such as memos, Banquet Event Orders etc. to concerned department
Maintains a proper filing and trace system for the department
Responsible for maintaining the general tidiness of the department and ensuring sufficient stock of stationary and other office supplies
Coordinates all activities related to the Assistant Outlet Manager.
Liaise with other departments for information; i. e. liaises with equipment, with Chef for special menus etc.
Maintains a good understanding of clients by updating guest history record regularly.
Handles guest’s requests independently by supplying information, contacting concerned departments to assist in guest’s request and needs
Updates organizational chart, and others as advised by the department.
Prepare weekly schedule for all private payrolls and prepare monthly attendance sheet for the F&B administration and ensuring prompt submission to Human Resources department
Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards guests and colleagues
Responsible in making buffet tags, menu cards and other relevant job needed by the operations
Project a positive and motivated attitude among employees at all times
Comply with the hotel grooming standard
Responsible to raise purchase requests concerning F&B operation
