Mangala Resort & Spa is a five star resort which build on 60-acre contemporary former surface mining land that is now amazingly rehabilitated and full of greenery comprising various plants and trees, including palm oil and fruits. MANGALA RESORT & SPA is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Director of Marketing
Job responsibilities :

Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising General Manager on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
Consistently generating new business for the Resort and the brand through implementation and execution of the Resort Business Plan.
Determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the Resort revenues.
Provide leadership in all the selling activities within the Resort, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments to maximize the sales.
Responsible for the budget preparation, Resort/conference and banquette occupancy in order to optimize general business opportunities.
Coaching and motivating the Sales and Marketing team to achieve target set by the Resort in professional setting.
Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on realistic forecasts for occupancy rate, food and beverage and conference revenue (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion programme plans.
Review room rates and prices of all food and beverage and goods and services and all promotions and discounts from time to time.
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.

Job Requirements :
Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration , Marketing or related field.
At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field with strong knowledge and vast experience.
Excellent team player, able to work well under pressure, able to work around short lead time, prepared to work long hours and on weekends.
Possesses good customer relations skills and knowledge on customers’ requirements.
Candidate with international marketing experience will be an added advantage.

Front Office Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front Office Manager with some resort experiences and have worked in a 5 star hotel/resort would be advantageous. This position is responsible for overseeing and supervises the Front Office Team which is the main connection between the Guest, the resort and the various departments in Resort. The Front Office is the area of Resort where the forms Guest’s first and last impressions of the Resort – this makes it really important for the Front Office Manager to work hard and smart to create a pleasant experiences for guests to ensure their return and to maintain 5 star standards, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
The Front Office Manager has overall responsible to evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement a
Ensure regular and VIP Guests are recognised and that the Front Office department operates with a sales attitude and promotes the Resort brands.
Resolve Guest problem quickly, efficiently and courteously.
Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote Resort services and facilities through planning, organising, directing and controlling all aspects related to the revenues and operating expenses.
Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office team with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
Ensuring Front Office team provides professional and friendly services to Guest.
Ensure Front Team have current knowledge of Resort products, services, pricing and Standard Operation Procedures as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand standard procedures and practices.
Maintain good communication and working relationships with all Departments in Resort.
Work closely with the Chief of Resort and have primary responsibility for the development of Front Office programs. Someone with a creative mind and having great passion delighting resort guests in this exclusive 65 luxury, all villa resort would be fit in very well with the team.

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
