Our current hotel in Kota Kinabalu is going extensive renovation and rebranding, and we encourage young and dynamic candidates to join us to launch this exciting property. The size of the hotel is about 108 rooms. We expect our new identity to bring Sabah’s mid segment hospitality into a whole new level.

King Park Hotel Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 6 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
Candidate must possess strong leadership, communication and analytical skill.
Has direct experience in hotel management, including exposure in Front Office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
Strong understanding in hospitality procedures and industry best practices.
Experience in Revenue Management and forecasting results to achieve high RevPAR.
Experience in managing and setting up boutique hotels and/ or international chain hotels will be an added advantage.
Ability to converse in multiple language would be an added advantage.
Outgoing personality.
The successful candidate is responsible for overall day to day operation, supervision and management of the hotel.
The successful candidate is expected to implement and practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each and every department. He/ She must be able to give appropriate training to staff in order to achieve this.
The successful candidate has to actively monitor sales, revenues and adjust strategies to achieve sales target and profitability.
The successful candidate must be able to handle and resolve all operation problems in a professional manner and to ensure prompt actions at all time.
The successful candidate is expected to be an effective leader who can bring the best of everyone in the team.
The successful candidate is also expected to perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.
