Job Description

OVERVIEW:

A travel consultant is an individual who is responsible for promoting and booking travel arrangements for clients (individuals and/or businesses). This individual aims to enhance customer satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a travel consultant with PST Travel Services, you will play an integral role in servicing clients’ travel needs. A travel consultant can diagnose clients’ specifications and wishes to suggest and coordinate suitable travel arrangements unique to each clients’ needs and situation.
• Liaise with clients through avenues deemed appropriate by superiors
• Organize end-to-end travel, as required by clients, ranging from booking tickets, accommodation, securing rental transportation, etc.
• Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.
• Diagnose client’s specifications and requirements to suggest suitable travel arrangements
• Supply travellers with pertinent information and useful travel material (guides, maps, etc.)
• Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns based on company procedures
• Create and update electronic records of clients
• Ensure service level agreements and customer care are achieved
• Ensure invoicing is completed in an expedient manner as dictated by company procedures
• To undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
  • Required skill(s): english composition, English Communication.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
  • Contract position(s) available.
