• Maintenance Officer

SAMADHI RETREATS is more than a luxury hospitality group. The group comprises of two award-winning properties in Malaysia; Japamala Resort, a 16-villa resort in Tioman Island, and Villa Samadhi Kuala Lumpur, a villa-in-a-room urban retreat. In Singapore, the group owns Villa Samadhi Singapore, a 20-room restored colonial residence located in Labrador Nature Reserve.

Positions available at Japamala-Tioman Island (Accommodation Provided)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform fixes for electrical and plumbing related issues.
• Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify and fix issues
• Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, Aircon Servicing, etc.
• Service and Maintain electrical fittings
• Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems

Job Requirements:

• Applicant must possess at least a Secondary/SPM Level of education or equivalent
• A professional certificate in electrical/plumbing, Diploma or Bachelors Degree in related field is an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate within different departments
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia and ability to work with all level of staff.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a resort/hotel setting
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
• Ability to walk long and high distance daily
• Chargeman qualification an added advantage
• Able to work at Japamala Resorts, Pulau Tioman

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
