- Kitchen Steward
Responsibilities:
- Helping and assisting with food preparation.
- Upkeep and maintenance of the culinary garden.
- Helping and assisting within other areas of the hotel when required
- The ability to run the day to day operation of any area of the kitchen in the absence of a senior Chef on duty.
- The ability to taste and season the food appropriately and to ensure it is well presented and of the standard and quality required before serving it to the guest.
- To always maintain and develop the quality of food serve to the guests and staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar position within a 4/5* Hotel or quality F&B outlet
- Show a good command of the English language
- Be able to work unsupervised and to a flexible time schedule
- To always work in an organized, clean & methodical manner
- To be passionate and positive in you approach to work
- To arrive at work wanting to do your very best and be a quick learner
- To maintain a high level of personal and kitchen hygiene
