Job Description
Job Summary
To assist F&B Supervisor in providing food and beverages services, control of supplies and cost, planning of menus, arranging settings and budgeting of perishable and meat items.
Position Description:
- Responsible in preparing of shift’s menus including all requests for special function.
- Maintain high personal hygiene, equipment and work place sanitation and work discipline.
- Assist supervisor in menu planning and cost control.
- Consult with supervisor and peers on shift performance.
- Initiates plan and implement new ideas on food and beverage presentation regularly to provide interest.
- Good understanding in local applicable laws, any regulations or procedures, standards/codes (EICC, SOX or internal control) and ensure compliance in the work area.
- Encourage workers to report any kind of violations relating to labor, ethics and EHS.
- To assist in cutting vegetables and prepare the ingredients.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Certification up to level 3 educational with atleast two years working experience.
- Preferably in cooking & preparation role.
- Good understanding in preparing multi racial food and balance diet.
- Self motivated and self driven, initiative, and possess good creativity in food preparation and presentation.
- Sound knowledge on fire and safety procedures, food and beverages housekeeping and sanitation.
- Knowledge in personal hygiene, kitchen procedures, food and beverages cleanliness, equipment and work place housekeeping and sanitation.
