Job Description

  • Assist Department Manager in all matters relating to the operation of Housekeeping Department.
  • Direct the work assignments of all supervisory and non-supervisory Housekeeping staff.
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure guest receives prompt and courteous service.
  • Communicate to all departments concerned, any information related to the expectations/requirements of VIP guest.
  • Be well versed in VIP protocol in order to make the required arrangements when the occasions warrant it.
  • Schedule the Housekeeping duty roster to maximize productivity and minimize over-staffing.
  • Plan floor inspection schedules for Supervisors to ensure work quality.
  • Follow-up on progress of agenda items raised at departmental meetings.
  • Maintain cost-control on all operational expenses to ensure compliance with budget.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Housekeeping Department’s monthly reports as well as any other reports as required by the Department Manager.
  • Acts in the capacity of the Department Manager in his / her absence or if assigned.
  • Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned. 
  •  Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
