Job Description

Job Responsibilities

·      Managing all finance and accounting operations

·      Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

·      Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

·      Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

·      Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

·      Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

·      Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

·      Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting in accordance with both Malaysia and Singapore requirements

·      Research technical accounting issues for compliance

·      Familiar with listed company requirements especially Singapore-listed entity 

·      Support month-end and year-end close process

·      Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

·      Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

·      Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

·      Additional controller duties as necessary

ESCAPE’s business model disrupts longstanding convention of movie-based themes and mechanical roller-coaster rides in the theme park industry.

The Group has also signed MOUs to expand the ESCAPE brand internationally in Sri Lanka and China, currently these projects are delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Group also recently acquired KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
