Vacancy

  • Commis Cook (I and II)

Duties and Responsibility:

· Knows and understands all the Basic policies and procedures in food production.

· Maintains all service standards established for Kitchen.

· Follows up and complies with the cleaning schedule established for the Kitchen

· Understanding the different method of basic cooking in steaming, stir fried, poaching, deep fat frying, roasting and re-generating.

· Knowledge of setting mis-en-place according to banquet and restaurant recipes

· Should be able to cook (if required) within the time frame and meeting targets.

· Capable of identify the freshness of the dish, which is worthy of serving.

· Knowledge of ingredients such as spices, herbs curry powders and all kinds of seasoning.
