Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, SOP, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and fryers
• Monitor food quality while preparing food
• Set-up and break down work station
• Serve food in proper portions using proper receptacles
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment daily
• Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience of western breakfast/brunch cuisine
• Over one year working experience in a café/restaurant/hotel kitchen
• Self driven, motivated, team player
• Able to work under minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM1,132.00 - RM2,932.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Experience:

• restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)

• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
