HOTEL TENERA is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Director of Sales
Job Description’s Summary
The Director of Sales is the head of the sales department. He/she is in charge of training and supervising of the hotel´s sales team.
The Director of Sales works closely with the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the hotel revenues. He/she is also responsible for a maximum of occupancy of conferences and banquettes in order to optimize general business opportunities.
The Director of Sales creates lucrative sales targets and networks business relations to corporate client, like airlines, tourist offices, different book services etc.
He/she has to observe the market, identity trend and monitor the main competitors. Based on his/her notices he/she creates sales targets depending on the tide of events.
The control of expenses and the best possible costs cutting subject belongs to his/her responsibility.

Responsibilities:
To lead the organization sales force.
Responsible for the hotel’s sales result.
Drives the hotel’s total sales effort. Directs the hotel’s entire sales staff.
Maintains and aware of all local competitive conditions and regularly reports changes to upper management along with a suggested course of action.
Meets or exceed all established goals and commitments in accordance with KPI which being laid out in the Sales Department.
To perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Provides on-going training and direction as required, for all members of the sales.
Supervises, guides and directs all sales team members and sales office support staff.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Follows up and carries out all established Hotel’s policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in hospitality industry with proven sales track record.
Extensive knowledge of sales and proven ability to plan and execute sales target effectively with a strong sense of detail.

Assistant Marcomm Manager
Responsibilities:
Report to Head of Marcomm and/or General Manager to provide Marcom and PR support for the assigned hotels.
Responsible for providing strategic direction and execution of all communication materials for the assigned hotels.
Ensure consistent adherence to Corporate Identity guidelines of the assigned hotel brand(s).
Responsible for developing and maintaining content including videos and photographs of the assigned hotels on company’s website and other owned platforms.
Work closely with Director of Sales and Revenue Generated Department to develop new campaigns for the respective market segments.
Recommend, use and optimize various communication platforms to engage with various audiences and market segments.
Create various marketing materials to be used across various media platforms – offline and online Materials include but not limited to Brochures, online banners, advertisements, pull up banners, gift cards, corporate gifts, in-house collaterals, etc.
Develop and execute social media strategies including content management to promote the respective properties & brand(s) assigned in increased awareness and build up the followers’ community.
Develop PR strategies and activities to build and enhance the brand values of the hotels under his/her charge. Activities include but not limited to, media familiarization, media enquiries, media giveaways, media events, media engagement, etc.
Under the direction of the Head of Marketing Communications or any designated person oversees Marcomm Department, will receive work assignments based on current/ad-hoc campaign plans.
To control the departmental budget for marketing and communication
To carry out any other duties as and when required.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in hospitality industry is required for this position.
Required language(s) Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbal and written).
Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Public Relations/ Marketing/ Communications.
