Hotel Royal Kuala Lumpur is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Group Director of Sales/ Director of Sales

The Director of Sales and Marketing position is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long term market share.
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to present standards and industry and economic trends.
Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Establishes and maintains relationship with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
Direct market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintain relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
Analyze and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management
Minimum of 8 years working experience in four or five star international hotels with the proven sales record, strong markets contacts and show an innovative and creative Sales & Marketing strategy.
Must be innovative and creative in outlook and application, fully marketing and financially oriented with strong leadership qualities.
Fluent in both written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Broad-based experience with technology preferred, and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Group Human Resources Manager
Responsibilities:

Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and labor relations.
Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Requirements :

At least 10 years’ experience in related field
Familiar and comfortable with startup environment
Preferable Senior Manager specialized in Human Resources or equivalent
Experienced in creating and launching new policies and systems
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving

Finance Manager
Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager is responsible for the day to day accounting duties and work efficiency of the department.

Ensure compliance, maintenance and continuous improvement on all financial aspects.
Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, statutory bodies, bankers, etc.
Ensure timely preparation of all relevant financial reports.
Provide sound financial advice for decision making, if required.
Able to lead, coach and supervise subordinates in achieving the department’s objectives.

Requirements :

Degree in Accounting and/or MACPA/MIA/ACCA/ASCPA or equivalent.
Minimum 3 – 5 years related working experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good command in spoken and written English.
