Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Director of Sales & Marketing/ Director of Sales
The applicant MUST have hands on International Hotel Sales & Marketing working experience; and with minimum 3 years as Sales & Marketing Dept. Head / DOSM capacity.
Being the Pioneer team member and fully participate in Pre-Opening activities as well as the setup of the Sales & Marketing Dept.
Develop the Hotel’s Sales & Marketing strategies, forecast plan and the annual budgeting.
Demonstrate leadership and in-depth international hotel’s sales & marketing framework and competency.
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Sales – Corporate or equivalent.

Executive Assistant Manager (EAM)
You will provide leadership direction to the hotels by maximizing financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining memorable guest experiences, executing on brand standards, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community. You may need to act as the General Manager in his/her absence.

People
Direct everyday activities, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance goals for colleagues
Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standard
Guest Experience
Interact with guests and outside contacts including, current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, local community members
Make sure the hotel delivers the highest level of guest satisfaction
Financial
Help the General Manager in the implementation of financial and operational plans for the hotel to ensure optimum guest satisfaction, sales potential and profitability
Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the hotel and brand loyalty
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree / higher education equivalent in Hotel Administration with Three years’ general management experience in similar position or operational role
Or 5 years as HOD in business class hotel (preferably in Rooms Division or Sales) with an international chain.
Must speak English well & min 1-2 local language(s)
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent. At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.

Front Office Manager
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Mass Communications or equivalent.
Required skill(s): customer oriented person, great interpersonal and administration skills, strong leadership skills, well versed on front office operations, great computer knowledge.
Have a hotel pre opening experience will be advantage
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

IT Manager
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): great knowledge on computer systems and network, great communication skills.
Have an experience to set up a hotel IT system and network
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Food & Beverage Operations Manager
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required skill(s): great customer skills, great computer skills and administration skills, strong leadership skills, strong coaching & counselling skills.
Have a hotel pre opening experience will be an advantage
Speak excellent English & Bahasa Malaysia
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least a minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Executive Housekeeper
Be the Pre-Opening team member and focuses on Housekeeping Department.
Must has minimum of 3 years working experience in International Hotel Chain that holding the post of at least Asst Executive Housekeeper.
Be responsible to setup the entire Housekeeping Department; provide training and ensure all matters relating to Housekeeping Department are in order.
Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Well versed in Hotel Housekeeping operations
Great communication & interpersonal skills.
