Hard Rock Hotel Penang is currently looking to recruit the following positions:
Your main duties centers on the procedural and personal dimensions as applied in the delivery of the guest experience in the spa, cabanas and hotel rooms. You will:
a. Manage and oversee the overall Spa Operation. Ensuring sufficient staffing is provided relevant to demand, and that required policies and procedures are being followed by the department at all times.
b. Manage and oversee the departmental budget on a monthly basis, ensuring that the department achieves or exceeds budgeted goals each month.
c. Plan and action monthly promotional activities to maximise revenue and patronage at the Spa.
d. Control expenses on a constant basis, through accurate staff management, minimising overtime and excess manning. Maintain strong control over operating expenses to ensure profitability is maximised.
e. Complete and record monthly training reports and support daily training sessions according to each band member’s Individual Training Plan.
f. Monitor and ensure all therapists are competent and have consistent skills & knowledge needed before allowing them to attend & perform treatments on guests.
g. Ensure all therapists perform and follow the standard treatments steps as per SOPs.
h. Ensure therapists practice correct usage and quantity of spa products and tools pre, during & post treatments.
i. Interact with guests to promote spa activities and garner feedback on treatment experiences to better ensure operational excellence.
j. Manage the booking system and allocations of treatments assigned as per booking appointment sheet.
k. Maintain the upsell system of spa treatments and retail products to ensure average check is maximised.
l. Handle guest requests, special needs, enquiries and complaints to ensure high level guest satisfaction.
m. Maintain good grooming & personal hygiene at all times as per standard for all members of the Rock Spa team.
n. Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of spa treatment rooms & spa area to ensure Hard Rock International standards are being applied.
o. Maintain presence in Spa outlet whilst on duty at all times.
p. Perform daily briefings to Rock Spa staff to communicate daily news and maintain strong bonds with staff.
q. Provide thorough support to the operation during periods of high demand.
