Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur is currently looking to recruit the following positions:
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
To champion all communications and Branding concepts and strategies both within the hotel and externally, thus maximizing hotels brand awareness in line with the hotels positioning statement within the target markets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To develop the hotel’s yearly branding, communication plan and budget in conjunction with the hotel’s yearly marketing plan so as to support and drive market penetration and overall sales effectiveness.
To develop pro-active communication and advertising plans, (monthly and yearly) aimed at achieving results and developing awareness thus maximizing the power of the branding worldwide.
To collaborate with our associates (partners) Public Relations consultant, Advertising Agency, Events Management consultants, suppliers etc,
To be responsible to develop sponsorship / partnership relationships with key marketing partners within local market to support the drive to access key databases within to maximize marketing penetration to potential customer bases.
To support and develop in the production of Food and Beverage e-collaterals, advertising and promotional activities
To be the champion of hotel’s “Branding” thus cascading communications that supports the hotel’s core / essence concepts within all communication methods.
To develop press release concepts that is creative yet informative in copy and a style to maximize and capture coverage from (journalists/editors)
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mass Communications or equivalent.
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
Strong media relations experience with good knowledge of local media landscape and contacts
Good IT and social media skills includes Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc
Preferably Manager specialized in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
