GENTING MALAYSIA Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

ASSISTANT MANAGER – PURCHASING
Job Descriptions:
Ensure compliance in sourcing process align with company Purchasing Policy
Plan sourcing strategies for each project through analysis of data and spending trends
Ensure comprehensive information and documentation of each tender projects/Closed Quotation events
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scopes and within budget
Initiate due diligent check on new suppliers and conducting price benchmarking exercises making sure RIGHT supplier and RIGHT price in place
Ensure timely renewal of contract
Establish and maintain relationship with the suppliers and all the stakeholders
Monitor and manage supplier performances
Handle daily operation issues and update new products via sourcing and market info for stakeholders
Contribute new ideas for system efficiency and delight customers
Keep track on project update status from individual buyers and build buyers’ team work and increase work efficiency among buyers

Job Requirements:
Degree in Economics / Statistics / Business Admin / Finance with at least 5 years’ experience in purchasing of office supplies/ hospitality/ media/ advertising item/service
Possess good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Experience in leading/supervising buyers
Hands-on experience in using SAP / Ariba / Oracle or any other ERP system will be an added advantage

SENIOR EXECUTIVE – MEDIA RELATIONS
The Senior Media Executive will play an vital role in driving positive media coverage and engagement with Resorts World Genting (RWG) products, delivering credible, independent third-party endorsement of the experience and RWG brand. In addition, this position will have responsibility for content generation and publishing for media and consumer audiences that support the company’s goals.

Job Responsibility:
To work together with the team to further develop the Media Strategy that increases awareness and understanding of Resorts World Genting in all its targeted markets besides Malaysia.
Foster relationships with social, online, print and broadcast media
Work closely with all internal stakeholders to plan media coverage, align calendars and manage issues that may arise
Create and publish compelling content tied to RWG goals and develop events for media and consumer audiences
To manage and build relationships with top media influencers at major media outlets manage projects that will bring media to RWG
Strong knowledge of the media and social media in Malaysia (other countries would be an added advantage).
Demonstrated success working with leading media outlets in driving news media coverage for the hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
Have a good record and competency at developing key strategies to drive earned media coverage.
Strong leadership skills to drive large scale, complex projects on time and on budget.
Knowledge in crisis communication and handling of media during crisis is an added advantage

Job Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication/ Public Relations or its equivalent with at least 5 years experience in Media/Public Relations
Good knowledge of the news media environment within Malaysia and other countries would be an added advantage, including the role of Social media and key opinion leaders.
Possess good command of English writing and speaking proficiency and/or Mandarin language
Possess good planning skills to translate strategic direction, and investment into world class Public Relations.
Creative thinking with an ability to connect strategic rationale to media driving ideas, with an understanding of the types of content that will further produce earned media coverage.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE
Job Responsibilities:
In charge of Genting ,FWH & Awana overall Receiving activities and administrations
Supervise the Receiving Operations in ensuring effictive receiving process of goods and service that conform to user requirement and acceptable quality for the company operations
To check and monitor timely posting of goods received in e-GR ,Ariba/SAP system
To ensure vendor comply with specification of Purchase Order and Food Act & HACCP requirement
Product knowledge , goods shelflife and storage condition.
To practice EHS policy and procedure are adhered to
To conduct on job training for new staffs and review staffs performance

Job Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration/Economic/Supply Chain or other related field with at least 3 years relevant working experience, or
Diploma in Business Administration/Economic/Supply Chain or other related field with at least 5 years relevant working experience
Able to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Possess of SAP knowledge will be an added advantage

SENIOR FACILITATOR
The Senior Facilitator will responsible to:
Collaborate with the operations and supporting departments to identify organizational training needs
Design, manage and deliver in-house training programmes for staff and executive levels, including soft-skill, orientation and ad-hoc programmes upon requests
Analyse, select and apply a variety of methodologies and technologies to address specific training/learning needs and assess training processes execution
Implement and monitor the training assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness in meeting organizational needs
Ensure training calendar, programmes, systems and policies are updated from time-to-time in line with continuous improvement endeavours
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in training and facilitation OR teaching in a classroom environment
Certificate in CELTA/TESOL/ TEFL or other English Language teaching certifications
Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification is preferred
Experience in designing, managing, delivering and evaluating training programme is essential
Knowledge of LMS (Learning Management Systems) and eLearning platforms is an added advantage
Excellent verbal and written skills in English & Bahasa
Self-motivated with excellent project management, time management and organization skills
Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
