GENTING MALAYSIA Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Senior Executive – Fit Out
To familiarize tenants and their contractors with site conditions, fit-out and safety rules and regulations before work commencement, monitor their work progress to assist and ensure compliance during the fit-out works in tenants’ premises and ensure on time opening.

Provide feedback from tenants and their contractors and propose action
Monitor fit-out progress, highlight concerns and make appropriate recommendation
Work with leasing on potential tenants requirement
Report fit-out status in weekly fit-out meeting and update minutes, work closely with Leasing to ensure timely handover and procession of retail space
Provide information of tenants and their contractors who may require the assistance of other departments
Work with dev. team, project and construction team to ensure site as-built with provisions and requirement.
Work closely with architect, M&E consultant, structural engineer, building engineers on base building provision and problem solving.
Co-ordinate with ID consultant in the submission and approval of concept plan.
Co-ordinate with the architect and M&E consultants on the approval of various M&E and building plan i.e. upgrade of electrical & ventilation systems, air-con, sprinklers, structural issues and Bomba requirement.

Conduct induction meetings and familiarize tenants and their contractors with site conditions, fit-out and safety regulations and authority requirement
Ensure necessary documents i.e. insurance, work schedule, approved concept and M&E plan in place prior to the handover of premises and commencement of work
Conduct proper handover of premises to new tenants and site procession from out-going tenants
Conduct daily check for work on site to ensure compliance of safety, method of construction, materials used and monitor work progress
Provide advice in area of expertise
Respond to issues/questions raised by the shoppers and provide assistance in the best and professional manner

At least 2 years experience in retail fit-out or equivalent
Bachelor degree, post graduate diploma or professional degree in architecturem, interior design or equivalent
Independent, good interpersonal skills and able to lead a team to deliver project on time
Proficient in design software and tools
Competent in wrtitten and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu
Ability to manage several designs and fit-out projectes simultaneously

Leasing Executive – Tenancy
Job Descriptions:

Report leasing deals done and strategy for leasing deals to be done to Leasing Manager in Weekly Leasing meeting
Participate in leasing budget and strategy
Provide feedback from tenants and propose action
Monitor sales turnover of own tenants, highlight concerns and make appropriate recommendation
Participate actively in meeting and share crucial tenants information with others in the department
Provide accurate information in weekly Fit-out meeting to ensure timely handover and procession of retail space
Provide information of tenants who may require the assistance of other departments
Ensure all payment , insurance & relevant documents are received by Finance department on a timely manner prior to any new opening and renewal
Ensure all Leases / Tenancies are properly executed prior to any new opening and renewals
Attend to daily enquiries and meet with prospective tenants
Update retailers database
Negotiate terms with retailers and prepare all leasing correspondence and documents in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure acceptance for offer letter, concept submission, Lease / Tenancy execution and deposit payment are completed within set timeframe
Attend to tenants’ complaints and/or suggestions in a professional manner
Monitor own tenants’ sales turnover closely and make recommendation renew, terminate or assist a particular tenant
Approach and persuade desired retailers to lease suitable space in the respective center
Assist Fit-out in ensuring that tenants’ designers / contractors are familiar with and comply with the center’s standards and rules and regulations and provide instant feedback and suggest corrective action for any non-compliance.
To lead and meet objectives set for special project
Respond to issues/questions raised by shoppers and provide assistance in the best and professional manner

Job Responsibilities:
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Economics / Marketing / Finance / Commerce or its equivalent
At least 1 year relevant working experience in Tenancy or Leasing
Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Well-organized, meticulous and able to work independently
Possesses strong sense of integrity and accountability
