GENTING MALAYSIA Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

PURCHASING OFFICER
Job Responsibilities:
To source, request for quotation, review the market feedback and conduct price negotiation for the purchases
To generate spend analysis and evaluate for strategic purchases to gain potential cost saving
Execute the PR-PO in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements
Track orders and ensure timely delivery to support organization daily operations
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies according to SOP
Execute the tendering process /ebid whenever is assigned according to the approved tender procedures and SOP
Manage incidents, complaints, or quires from user to ensure customer satisfaction

Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/ Economic/ Administration (Fresh graduates or with 1 year relevant experience)
Knowledge of Ariba / SAP System is an added advantage
Strong negotiation, communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills
Able to work independently and under pressure environment
Proven experience in procurement of hotel related purchases will be an advantage

PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Job Description
To execute the entire procurement events / sourcing functions of the Technical Team according to the approved SOP and tender procedures.
Evaluate and recommend each tender award to determine the best deal for the company.
To review and forward planning on the purchase annually.
To Assist AM or SPO to check, monitor, manage and guide buyers on sourcing process, contract creation, etc.
Execute, monitor and manage all the purchase requisitions (PR) and tender process until award within timeline.
Manage incidents, complaints, or quires from user to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, procedures, regulated standard and approved SOP.
Improve internal and intra-department communication towards teamwork.
Communicate with various parties involved to keep them informed and updated.
Ensure a clear audit trail of activities is maintained with proper filing / record keeping.
Maintain GENM interests in all aspects of tender process / tender awards / negotiation process.

Job Requirements
Degree in Economics / Business Administration / Supply Chain (Fresh graduates or with 2 years relevant experience); and/or
Diploma / Certificate in Purchasing & Material Management or related field (with min. 3 years relevant experience).
Able to plan and organize tasks effectively.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to work independently and in a cooperative manner with different levels.
Good interpersonal, communication skills and good negotiation skill.
Resourceful and pro-active.
Comprehend the basic functionalities of procurement applications.
High degree of integrity.
Willing to work and be stationed at GHR.
