GENTING MALAYSIA is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Assistant Finance Manager – Development Cost Control
Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the preparation of management report including the review of financial statements to ensure compliance with Company’s policies and and meet reporting deadline.
2. Monitoring project accounting including budget approval, tendering and contract award, verification of progress claims and capitalisation upon project completion.
3. Physical site visit/meeting to determine project status where necessary.
4. Responsible for reporting on fixed assets including capitalisation of fixed asset, review of assets useful life, annual capital expenditure budget planning and analysis
5. Motivate and coach team members, providing support as needed for them to grow in their roles.
6. Liaise with internal and external auditors.
7. Liaise with tax department on tax related matters.
8. Ad-hoc system projects as required.

Job Requirements:
1. A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
2. Minimum 4 years experience in auditing/accounting and well versed in FRS.
3. Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
4. Good in written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.


Job Descriptions:
Sourcing Functions including issuance of eRFQ, Tender and E-Bidding exercise
Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processing; Material Master (MM) creation and maintenance
Analyze purchase practice & trends and customer requirements; conduct Market Intelligence; Benchmark Information and Supplier Negotiation to ensure purchase at right prices
Supplier Performance Evaluation including supplier outreach to maintain a competitive pool of supplier for effective sourcing process
Contract compliance to ensure timely renewal of contract with proper planning and monitoring
Works with internal customers (User), manager Inquiries, Complaints and User Rapport
Reporting such as:-
– Spend analysis and conversion activities
– Preparation of Savings (actual & forecast) and provide analytical executive summary
– Review & analyze the productivity and KPIs of the Section
Enforcement and compliance to related Procurement Policies, Procedures & regulated standard in line with ISO practices

Job Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain / Economics / Business Administration / Purchasing & Material Management with minimum four (4) years of relevant working experience
Possess good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Hands-on experience in using SAP / Ariba / Oracle or any other ERP system will be an added advantage
Able to work independently
Working experience in procurement of IT products & solutions will be added advantage
