Geno Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:
Assistant Director of Sales
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and promote a team work environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
Ensure best client service is being made available through communication amongst the team, cross training within the department and appropriate office coverage.
Works with sales managers to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.
Works with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and all market segment.
Set example through professional, friendly attitude towards clients and co-workers, timely response to clients and co-workers needs and observance of sales office standard.
Ensure hotel meets or exceeds budgeted goals.
Follow and track company cross-sell procedures.
Utilize company profile database to determine geographic areas for travel agent calls while maintaining top and existing travel agent accounts.
Organize travel agent month and travel agent tactical rates for slow months.
Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external
Creating a focus on attracting new business.
Attending and contributing to the weekly sales strategy meeting.
Updating and owning the sales strategy & sales plan with the CEO.
Review and approves any special corporate negotiated rates by signing the CVGR (Company Volume guaranteed rate) contract.
Provides positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals).
Leads on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives.
Recommends monthly room nights target goals for sales team members.
Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
Develop and send informative press releases to targeted lists highlighting all activities and promotions.
Maintain and expand corporate incentive program via direct mail, personal visits etc.
Oversee and ensure the updation of rates, promotions on hotel website, OTA’s (Online travel agents), GDS etc. without any rate parity.
Responsible for the training of sales managers and staff.
Follow and promote hotel standards with guests, co-workers.
Evaluates and drives the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centres, electronic lead channels, etc.
Monitors all day to day activities of direct reports.
Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
As a Sales Manager you will be require to run through the Sales & Marketing team acitivities, and also to work closely with with your Departments and Marcom team in order to deliver outstanding results to the customers & organisation. Instead to achieve the targeted revenue and the financial profitability this position also requires someone with a characteristic who is willing to explore or to think out of the box.
Eagerly extreme to do sales for the Hotel by Identifies business opportunities, prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions and giving ideas on their requiremments.
Maintains good relationships with clients.
Team player in achieving the department’s Sales budgets.
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Actively sells room, f&b products as well as the halls and other facilities that we have through sales calls, telemarketing, tours, online etc.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by the CEO/Sr. Sales Manager/Manaeger
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Marketing, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
Shall candidate are able to communicate in other language it would be an advantages or add on points for the candidates in order to serve the clients.
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field especially hospitality line.
Having experience dealing with travel agents.
Required Skill(s): Selling, Negotiate, Approaching, Detail oriented, Multitasking
Preferably Senior Executive and above specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services, Marketing and Food & Beverage Service Management or equivalent.
