Empire Hotel Subang is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Cost Controller
Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with all department heads to ensure maximum profitability
Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections
Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste
Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality
Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures
Carry out inventories without fail as agreed of food and beverage stocks.
Deal with any variances and carry out recounts as informed by Financial Controller.
Cross-check of all food and beverage invoices with the receiving report and clarification of any differences in quantity or price.
Analysis of all open food and beverage sales on a daily basis.
Price comparison on food and beverage, and general
Random spot-checks on receiving stores, food production and outlet areas.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid networking and interpersonal skills
Able to generate budgets and reports
Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads
Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.

Maintenance Assistant/ Manager
Job Description:

Plan, execute & monitor all mechanical and electrical equipment and building utility system in accordance to operations
To familiarize with the locations and operations of all fire-fighting requirement and to lead the hotel fire-fighting team and to ensure all fire fighting equipment and systems are in working condition.
To provide the management with relevant information data or the activities of his department and to ensure that the management are informed of all matters arising that needs the management decision making or matter that will affect the daily operations of the business.
To work closely to all department heads in respect to engineering activities in order to minimize inconvenience that might affect the house guests safety and hotel operations.
And to perform all related duties as to when required by the management.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Managers specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
