Dash Resort Langkawi is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Food & Beverage Manager
To see that Food & Beverage Attendants perform their tasks in preparation work, and ensure all equipment is available for staff to carry out their tasks efficiently.
To double check function set up for service and audio visual requirements.
Check timesheet entries and authorize number of hours worked by each Ambassador.
To supervise the whole period of service, to see that Food & Beverage Attendants are performing their duties in accordance with the standards, and in a prompt and efficient way.
Prepare working schedules and ensure annual leave is within budget, business expectations and Labor Law guidelines.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize absenteeism and to manage occupational health & safety issues.
Maintain all equipment within the outlet, e.g. linen, china, glass, electrical equipment.
Analyze and respond to guest feedback, guest satisfaction and Ambassador satisfaction information; and give a positive commitment to continuous improvement of product and performance.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of Ambassadors working in the Department.

Implement promotions, strategies and special events.
Coordinate the upkeep and cleanliness of the outlet by liaising with Housekeeping and Engineering.
Requisition all items necessary for restaurant operation including food, beverage and general items insuring they do not exceed set par levels.
Liaise with Head Chef and Director of Food & Beverage to ensure the highest food standard is achieved.
Conduct pre-service briefings and de-briefings with staff highlighting any VIP’s in house, Group movements, Promotional activity, Guest feedback, Shift de-briefs, Service improvement points.

In conjunction with Human Resources and the Director of Food & Beverage, to assist with effective recruitment, training and development, certification, performance evaluation, turnover reduction and optimization of productivity through efficient work practices and staff rostering.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize absenteeism and to manage occupational health & safety issues.
Ensure and understand the correct procedures for handling intoxicated and underage guests.
Be well versed and knowledgeable of Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the workplace.
Coordination of all aspects of the departments operation to ensure that the services of the Department are delivered to guests or internal customers with the aim of exceeding guest expectations and in accordance with Brand Standards and Procedures.
Uphold the SNAP by demonstrating the Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow ambassadors.
Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Ri-Yaz Hotels & Resort and Company Policies.
Proactively identify risks and assess, respond, control and monitor the risks that are inherent in the course of doing the business and operational activities.
Manage and control leakage of personal information of business associates, employees, and/or any third party without their written consent under the ambit of Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) unless required by governing Laws and Regulations, e.g. legal cases, Government and its Agencies.
Comply, supervise and follow all aspects of activities under your responsibility and accountability in accordance to the Occupational and Safety Health Policy and Procedures under the ambit of the Occupational and Safety Health Act 1994.
Lead, manage and motivate employees to deliver the performance standards and expectations and periodically review employees’ performance including creating and delivering development plans (training) for continual improvements.

Job Summary
A Financial Controller will lead the Finance department and associated operations such that account management, reporting, and interdepartmental and vendor relations are managed to optimize the hotels profitability.

Job Description
As Financial Controller, you will lead the Finance department and associated operations such that account management, reporting, and interdepartmental and vendor relations are managed to optimize the hotels profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible:
Ensure that Finance teams are providing month end closing and all other required management reports
Work with the Finance Managers/General/Hotel Manager to provide full and accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals within the hotel
Prepare capital reviews as required by the General/Hotel Manager and/or Accounting and Finance Departments
Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures and continually review the process and procedures to maximise impact and efficiency
Ensure the balance sheets are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotels
Lead monthly finance update meetings with General Manager/Hotel team
Comply with Dash Resort policies and procedures across the area, maximising performance on the Finance Balanced Scorecard
Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required
Review regularly the balance sheets, ensure reconciliations are performed of controlled accounts and explain all balances even if reconciled elsewhere
Assist Heads of the Department to improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financial information for their operations
Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner
