Dash Resort Langkawi is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Human Resources Executive
Ensure that all new Ambassadors attend the orientation program
Ensure that all ambassadors comply with the grooming and uniform standards.
Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
Comply with all Corporate and Hotel/Resort Standards and Procedures.
Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and ambassadors alike.
Assist in the Recruitment, Selection and Induction Process as requested by the Human Resources Manager.
To be familiar with and knowledgeable of the Labor Code for your own understanding and to advise Ambassadors of conditions.
Respond to Ambassador requests for statements of service/earnings and take responsibility for other general inquiries.
Be pro-active in streamlining Human Resources Practices and sourcing new ways to improve current systems.
To assist in implementation of Ambassadors Recognition Program.
To assist in organizing of recreational and sport activities for ambassadors.
Coordinate and organize a comprehensive work experience program.
Coordinate social outings for morale as requested by the Human Resources Manager.
Maintain up to date, accurate and confidential ambassador file.
Handle all recruitment and termination process.
Administrate ambassadors’ promotion, transfer, staff benefits e.g. Medical, Hospitalization and Insurance.
Maintain ambassadors profile up to date and accurate.
Handle all the expat work permit application.
To assist in the recruitment, selection of middle Management and operative ambassadors in liaison with Heads of Department.
Maintain liaison with other hotels personnel and also other recruitment agencies.
Disseminate vacant position – To ensure Locker are well maintaining and locker room are clean.
To ensure consistency of the Cafeteria Food.
Pay all Ambassadors correctly and on a timely basis via computerized payroll system.
Preparation of input for all payroll and ancillary records. Ensure that payroll is processed on a timely basis and in accordance with Hotel Policy and Procedures and relevant government regulations.
To liaise with Human Resources Department to ensure payroll records are accurately maintained and to ensure confidentiality at all times.
Ensure all payroll deadlines are met.
Review all output from the payroll system, initiate corrections or adjustments accordingly.
Ensure Human Resources Department enters new Ambassador details and any change in Ambassador details (authorization responsibility of Human Resource Department).
Prepare and reconcile Payroll, Annual and Sick Leave Accruals, as necessary.
Reconcile Personal Income tax at year-end and issue tax certificate if required.
Review all Social Insurance payments, complete necessary documentation to the Government. Ensure any claims for reimbursement are filed on behalf of the Hotel.
Verify the leave entitlement for all leave requests for human resource’s action.
Align working style, working practices and conduct with Ri-Yaz Hotels & Resort’s Vision, Corporate Values and Policies. To comply with The Code of Conduct at all times.
Be well versed and knowledgeable of Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the workplace.
Coordination of all aspects of the departments operation to ensure that the services of the Department are delivered to guests or internal customers with the aim of exceeding guest expectations and in accordance with Brand Standards and Procedures.
Uphold the SNAP by demonstrating the Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow ambassadors.
Personally, ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Ri-Yaz Hotels & Resort and Company Policies.
Proactively identify risks and assess, respond, control and monitor the risks that are inherent in the course of doing the business and operational activities.
Manage and control leakage of personal information of business associates, employees, and/or any third party without their written consent under the ambit of Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) unless required by governing Laws and Regulations, e.g. legal cases, Government and its Agencies.
Comply, supervise and follow all aspects of activities under your responsibility and accountability in accordance to the Occupational and Safety Health Policy and Procedures under the ambit of the Occupational and Safety Health Act 1994.
Lead, manage and motivate employees to deliver the performance standards and expectations and periodically review employees’ performance including creating and delivering development plans (training) for continual improvements.
