Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Director of Sales
Responsibilities
Recommend sales strategies and consequent action plans for the hotel that would increase the hotel’s market share.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Lead the sales team by motivating them to source for new contacts and servicing existing accounts to maximise sales opportunities and ultimately achieve departmental targets.
Focus on the development and solicitation of business from all market segments, develop sales strategies towards maximising revenues and optimise business opportunities.
Assists with the development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operating Procedures that reflects policies and procedures, work processes and standards of performance within the Department. Ensures annual review to accurately reflect any changes.
Observe the market, identify trends and monitor main competitors, manage key accounts and oversees account management.
Proactively generate leads and manage the entire sales cycle from leads to negotiation to closing of deals.
Requirements
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Proven sales success.
Results-driven, energetic, focused with an excellent customer service attitude.
Professional communication skills with the ability to network at senior levels & build strong business relationships.
Well-developed ability to design business plans, plot out strategies for revenue generation and consequent action plans.
Demonstrable experience in maintaining sales staff by orienting, training, coaching, mentoring to foster a strong team spirit; and maintain sales staff job results by counselling and disciplining, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
