The company was established 8 years ago and now already expanded to Ipoh since 2011 from Butterworth, and now CHARITON HOTEL has landed in Alma and soon we will become one of the fast but steadily grow budget-biz hotel in northen region.

Chariton Hotel Alma Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Hotel Branch Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise a team of front desk employees and housekeeper to ensure smooth and efficient operations which able to provide an excellent hospitality service to guests. At the same time strict adherence to operating and safety procedures.

Major Task
Administer day to day activities which include facilities, amenities, cleanliness, and pest control are complying with statutory and safety requirements.
Inventorise and administer utilisation of office equipment, assets, stationery, pantry (food and beverage) and other office supplies and services with an aim to optimize cost and minimise disruption.
Plan and prepare logistic, security access card, stationery, office equipment for new employees and ensure these items are ready on report duty date.
Maintain all documents and records in a timely and orderly manner.
Record new disciplinary cases, prepare the appropriate next course of actions and follow through the whole process according to the standard operating procedures
Implement recruitment process according to standard operating procedures.
Update and file all employee related documents and ensure documents are up-to-date and easy to retrieve
Supervise daily operations of front desk by providing guidance and support to team members and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety measures.
Plan and review daily and weekly shift schedules to ensure efficient and smooth front desk operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Unless required by law, experience and education may be substituted for each other upon approval by the General Manager or their designee. Certifications required by law for the position must be obtained within first year in the position.

EDUCATION: Associate’s degree preferred with three (3) years of progressive responsibility and experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Malaysia driver’s license and proof of insurability are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Good hearing, eyesight and speech; Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; ability to effectively operate and utilize a personal computer and peripherals; able to tolerate periods of continuous sitting; may, on an infrequent basis, assist with lifting up to 25 kilograms.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work is primarily performed within an enclosed office setting with lighting and ventilation. Subject to conversational noise from other personnel within the facility, along with standard background noise found in an office environment. Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen. When performing work outside the facility, subject to variable weather conditions and possible exposure to heavy equipment, dust, fumes, odour and noise.

Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/”A” Level/Pre-U, any field.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
Full-Time position(s) available.
