Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru Hotel is currently looking to recruit the following positions:
Director of Sales and Marketing
Work with the General Manager and relevant parties to develop a marketing plan that identifies market niche and segments and defines a tactical plan to achieve goals and targets set.
Monitor and review sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities in order to achieve plan goals.
Establish account qualification criteria and use market research and telemarketing resources to identify priority accounts and assign sales to assure optimal coverage.
Maintain responsibility for selected key accounts.
Co-ordinate close frequent and open communications with HQ Corporate Sales and Marketing personnel and sister properties.
Propose and oversee the set-up of a viable sales administration system covering portfolio and database management to meet sales team’s needs, as well as to audit the system and
monitor its maintenance.
Optimize room utilization by accessing the demand and supply for rooms.
Lead, manage and motivate an effective team of sales professionals to achieve budgeted sales.
Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to each member.
At least 10 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
Must have held the role of Director of Sales or Director of Sales & Marketingin an upscale hotel or serviced apartment/residence for a minimum of 6 years with working knowledge of yield management, distribution channel and forecasting skills.
Effective leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent people and communication skills.
Literacy in travel and operating software applications.
Knowledge of online marketing.
Diploma in Hotel Management or its equivalent.
Human Resource Manager
As a business partner involves in strategic business planning through facilitating BSC and other cross division taskforces/ meetings towards deriving greater synergy.
To identify and formulate strategies to drive and enhance the Company’s vision and core values towards maintaining a workforce that promotes teamwork, driven by our guiding principles.
Conceptualize, review and formulate changes to the employee terms and benefits packages from time to time.
Partnering with external consultants to derive at creative HR solutions as well as to keep pace with best practices in the industry.
Conceptualize, formulate and propose appropriate HR strategies, policies and practices pertaining to recruitment and selection, performance management, knowledge management, compensation
and benefits, rewards and recognition, career development, succession planning etc which support the achievement of the Company’s business objectives.
Conduct benchmarking studies of manpower statistics and trends analysis critical in pre-empting and redressing unhealthy trends.
Leadership Development –Facilitate the recruitment, management of leaders and in developing and empowering them to be HR Managers.
Lead and motivate the HR team.
Tertiary education and additional post-graduate qualification in human resource management.
5 – 10 years relevant experience in a managerial position.
Competent in stand-up training and training management.
Familiar with local labour laws.
Candidates with pre-opening experience will be of advantage.

All supervisors shall supervise the whole operation of shift.
Prepare roster of his shift and ensure distribution of manpower fulfill security requirement.
Supervise personnel charged under his command.
Relay instructions specific work orders from Security Manager.
Conduct daily briefing to their respective shift.
Prepare daily written report on performance of their respective shift.
Meets with Security Manager concerning complex policies and procedure, rules and regulation and work related to functions and assignments.
Attend meetings as required, such as in-service meeting, staff meeting etc.
Keep up-dated in the field of security through current literature, training and other resources.
Trains in emergency and evacuation procedures.
Participates in staff training, i.e. the proper use of fire extinguishers and other fire safety and emergency equipment.
Monitor conduct of Security Assistant and daily performance.
Keeps/compiles required statistics/monthly report.
Filing report as required such as those concerning incident
Performs other duties as directed by Security Manager.
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
