Berjaya Hotels & Resorts is currently looking to recruit the following positions:

Corporate Sales Manager, Business Development

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients in accordance to industries. Identify and target clients from existing customer base and general contact base.
• Implement the agreed tactical sales plans that focus on market niches and segments identified in the marketing plan
• Built long term business relationships with Corporate Clients by providing consistent sales services, telephone sales, visits, follow up on inquiries and rapport building through corporate entertainment
• Be a hotel spokesman in terms of professionalism, through proper grooming, conduct and ability to present the hotels product and services effectively
• Present Account Portfolio on a Quarterly basis and analysis on performance of each account
• Handle inquiries and follow through, manage communication within the hotels and with clients.
• Manage corporate meetings, corporate banquet event, residents and non-residents meeting groups.
• Familiarization with work process and approval process for rate management of corporate accounts, credit application and etc.
• Conducts daily sales calls, entertainment, telephone calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
• Conduct Site inspection and liaise with property operations
• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and expanding corporate sector and reactivation of accounts that have been kept as dormant, strengthen business relationships with existing accounts.
• Timely updating of CRM contact / Accounts / Sales Activities
• Maximum revenue from events by promoting Hotels / Resorts products including restaurants, spas etc. by cross selling / up-selling
• Devise and implement a sales call plan programme with regular follow up on effectiveness and plan when appropriate to respond to market/ business needs
• Investigate / Follow up on all major Sales Leads maintaining an effective trace system to convert potential business and lapsed business
• Provides professional advisory to the Director of Sales
• To undertake any other projects / task as and when assigned by HQ
• Serves the customer by understanding their needs an recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their need and exceed their expectation
• Executes exemplary customer services to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and monitoring their satisfaction before and during their program/event
• Develop strong partnership with local organizations to further increase brand/product awareness
Working hours 9.00am – 6.00pm
REQUIREMENT
• Reporting to the Director of Sales, the incumbent with solely in charge of driving revenue and budget for BHR properties.
• Responsible in achieving the monthly/annual target room budget based on the areas of coverage or market industry assigned by servicing existing accounts and developing new business.
• Secure new and repeat business by means of personal sales calls (minimum 4 calls a day, telephone contacts and written communication).
• Bring in new agent yearly for contracting
• Timely updating of CRM contact / Accounts / Sales Activities
• Present Account Portfolio on a Quarterly basis and analysis on performance of each account
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Corporate Event or equivalent.
• To be base in Singapore Office.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
